It’s St Patrick’s day, which is the day when the Irish commemorate the arrival of Christianity to Ireland and when foreigners celebrate their offensive Irish stereotypes. This is a very important day, and you know why? It’s traditionally a day off from Lent. That means, of course, chocolate for all! Well, not everyone gives up chocolate for Lent, but you get the idea. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal when St Pancake’s day was only a couple of weeks ago on account of Easter being late this year, but do make the most of it, won’t you? There’s still more than a month to go. For most efficient chocolate gorging, I'd recommend the Mini Moos range.
As an aside (because I like to educate as I teach), it’s a shamrock, not a four-leaf clover like you see in some places. The fact that it has only three leaves is very important symbolically, as old Paddy was supposed to have used it to illustrate the concept of the Trinity.
