Last updated: February 26, 2026
1. Overview
This website is operated by Moo Free Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms apply to all users of the website, including browsers and customers.
Our online store is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform enabling us to sell our products to you.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
2. Orders and Contract Formation
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase goods.
Acceptance of your order takes place when we dispatch the goods to you. Until dispatch, we reserve the right to decline or cancel your order.
If a product is unavailable, we will contact you to discuss alternatives or issue a refund.
Your payment method will not be charged until dispatch.
3. Your Right to Cancel (UK Consumers)
If you are a consumer based in the UK, you have rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Non-Perishable Goods
You have 14 days from the day after receiving your goods to cancel your order for non-perishable items.
You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Goods must be:
- Unused
- In their original packaging
- In a condition suitable for resale
You are responsible for return postage costs unless the goods are faulty or incorrect.
We will refund the cost of the goods and standard delivery charges within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or receiving evidence they have been returned).
Perishable Goods (Including Chocolate)
Under Regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations, the right to cancel does not apply to goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
Chocolate and other perishable food products are therefore exempt from the 14-day cancellation right, unless faulty.
4. Faulty or Incorrect Goods
Your rights are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If goods are faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, please contact us within 7 days of receipt.
Where goods are confirmed faulty or incorrect, we will:
- Replace the goods, or
- Provide a full refund (including standard delivery costs)
Return postage will be reimbursed in such cases.
5. Delivery and Risk
Delivery times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to the address you provided.
If you request delivery to a safe place or nominate an alternative delivery arrangement, you accept responsibility once the goods have been delivered in accordance with your instructions.
During warm weather, we reserve the right to delay chocolate deliveries to reduce the risk of heat damage. We will notify you where delays occur.
6. Missed Deliveries and Returned Parcels
If a parcel requiring signature is not collected and is returned to us:
- For non-perishable goods in resaleable condition, a refund may be issued minus delivery and return costs.
- For chocolate or perishable goods, no refund may be issued if the goods cannot be resold due to storage conditions beyond our control.
7. International Orders
We may accept orders for delivery outside the United Kingdom.
Delivery times for international orders are estimates only and may be affected by customs procedures, transport conditions, or local regulations in the destination country.
Chocolate and other perishable goods may be affected by high temperatures or extended transit times. While we take reasonable steps to package products appropriately, we cannot guarantee product condition where goods are exposed to extreme temperatures, customs delays, or storage conditions outside our control.
International customers are responsible for:
-
Any import duties, taxes, customs charges, or clearance fees
-
Ensuring the goods comply with local laws and regulations
-
Ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery promptly
Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to the address provided at checkout.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law.
